Who is the intensive youth tennis course for?

This program is designed for young players aged 10 and above, from beginners to experienced competitors. Training groups are limited to a maximum of 4 players per court and are formed according to level to ensure appropriate supervision and personalised coaching.

Is accommodation included in the course price?

No. Accommodation is optional and can be added when booking your course. Young players may stay in on-site junior boarding accommodation, while children accompanied by a parent or guardian may stay at Club Med Kabira Ishigaki. The total price is calculated by selecting the course and adding the accommodation option during booking.

Will Frédéric Dewitte coach my child?

Frédéric Dewitte oversees the academy’s training philosophy and methodology and may be present on court depending on his availability. Daily coaching is delivered by the Frederic Dewitte Tennis Academy coaching team, ensuring consistent high-performance standards adapted to each child’s age and level.

Is this course open to children under the age of 10?

No. This full-day intensive program is available for children aged 10 and above. For younger players, we offer age-appropriate alternatives from age 6, including half-day programs and introductory tennis formats.

Do players need to bring their own racket? Is stringing available on site?

We recommend that players bring their own racket. Limited equipment support may be available on site, and basic stringing assistance can be arranged if needed.

What surface will players train on?

Training takes place on hard courts and artificial grass courts. We recommend bringing all-court tennis shoes to be comfortable in all conditions.

Which group will my child train in? With whom and how many players per group? Will groups be adapted to level?

Groups are limited to a maximum of 4 players per court. An initial assessment is conducted on the first day to ensure each player is placed in the appropriate group. Coaches monitor progress throughout the week and adjust groups when necessary.

How long does an intensive youth tennis course last?

The standard intensive youth program lasts one week, from Monday to Saturday morning.

What type of accommodation is provided for young players?

Optional on-site junior boarding accommodation is available in a secure residence. Rooms are air-conditioned, include a private bathroom and Wi-Fi, and accommodate 2 to 4 players per room.
